BookOf is a privacy-first Bible reading app for iOS, developed by Epistates, Inc. We believe your spiritual reading and study habits are deeply personal, so we have designed BookOf to keep all your data completely private and on your device.

Our Privacy Commitment

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data.

BookOf operates entirely on your device. Your bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading plans, and preferences never leave your iPhone or iPad.

Network Access

BookOf does not require internet access for core functionality.

The app does not:

  • × Connect to third-party analytics services
  • × Track your usage or reading habits
  • × Display advertisements
  • × Share data with any third parties

The only network access is for App Store updates (handled by iOS) and in-app purchase validation (handled by Apple StoreKit). Epistates does not operate any servers that receive data from BookOf.

In-App Purchases

BookOf offers an optional premium upgrade. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

Children's Privacy

BookOf is safe for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, there is no risk of children's data being collected or shared. The app complies with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) by design — no data collection means no data risk.

Your Rights

✓ Export or back up data through iOS device backups
✓ Delete all data by removing the app at any time
✓ No account to close or data deletion request to file
